Kanzelstein in Dillenburg

When we're around here, the Gasthof Kanzelstein is always the first choice. Also on this weekend we were spoiled with excellent dishes on 2 evenings. The game goulash was very tender and tasty, the schnitzel with herbal loin sauce and the chicken strips on the varied salad platter were perfect. A very nice service, a good hygiene concept and a cozy atmosphere are a guarantee for regular guests.

I stayed there for one night in the RV park and had dinner there. The service in the restaurant was rude rather than friendly and the food was okay. The schnitzel that I had was not pressed meat, but was taken from the freezer, which at a rather overpriced price removes 2 stars from the rating. There are three stars for a very quiet and easily accessible parking space.

Were on site for the 80th. Very clear map, classic furnishings, operation as expected. Great food, beer nice and cold, pace a little slow, but we had enough time. Will definitely come back.

Is in a small simple, there is also the possibility to stay overnight. We were there for a family celebration. Staff quite friendly, courteous. The food was tasty and value for money.

Nice hotel. Not a big luxury, view is a bit outdated but inside everything is very neat and recent and clean sanitary facilities. Operators are very friendly and very helpful. In the evening you can eat al la carte in the restaurant. The dishes are tasty and spacious. Top hotel.

Quiet and idyllic location on the edge of the Kanzelsteins at the end of a small housing estate with one- and two-family houses. The food was fresh and just delicious until the last bite. I recommend the inn as a tip. Go on like that!

I was there for the first time and I am absolutely thrilled. Nice staff and the food is delicious. There is also a delicious salad with the meal, which consists of several salads such as Carrot salad, cucumber salad and cabbage salad. Personally, I also find the ambience very cozy, with the nature all around and the hiking trails. You can stop there after a nice hike and fortify yourself deliciously.
